Request for Preparation Date

I have it set that the day before and after a booking is blocked for preparation time; however, guests seem to be able to request to extend their stay into the preparation date. Does anyone know how I can prevent this?

@Mckenzie11  You mean they are sending requests which have dates filled in that show as blocked for prep time on your calendar, or they are simply asking you for an extention?

They book a reservation within the parameters, then ask for a change of dates. Since I didn't think they would be able to request a date that is set aside for prep, I blindly accepted the change, which made me have to scramble for turn over. 

I know I should've looked first, but I also don't like that it's an option to request when it's supposed to be blocked off.

I should clarify that the request is going through the Airbnb booking platform, not through a personal request to me

@Mckenzie11 Where we define that we want a days notice before bookings there is a box to tick which allows requests for less notice. I wonder if the cleaning 'block' section has a similar box to tick.
