I have two reviews with that need attention with an exclamation mark inside a triangle. Is there anyway to remove these listing issues?
Yes ma'am I will try. Please bear with me as I a greenhorn host. Thankyou!
It's indicating you have received what airbnb considers very low ratings for cleaning . The guest leaves further details in his review .
are the guests comments fair? @Jessica3501
and it does look like you are trying to stuff lots of guests in your property - four sofas to sleep on in the living space ????. What sort of guests are you trying to attract ?
I just thought people needed a lot of places to sleep. I’m new at this, like I said, so any feedback would be great. I will take that into consideration and go into decrease the number of guest.
@Jessica3501 I think it is just a computer generated warning. Short of improving your cleaning protocol there is little you can do.
Hello @Jessica3501
The screen shot you've sent has the same reservation number and dates so you only have one review that has caught Airbnb's attention and not two.
This warning you have received is not visible on your listing, it's only for your eyes but if you receive another one you may get delisted but I imagine you have taken steps to improve on your cleaning? Most hosts would say it is the most important thing to get right.
As for the mention of uncomfortable beds made by the same guest, have you tested your beds for comfort?
Like @Helen3, I think that wanting to cram 11 people in your place is possibly a mistake. You may find that this will encourage people who will party at your place and that you really don't want.
Your first reviews are so important for the success of your business so give yourself more time in between two guests staying to get things right if you are finding that you are struggling to get everything perfect before a stay.
That bad review left in May will stick I'm afraid and you can't have it removed as it doesn't break any Airbnb rules but you can take steps to make sure it doesn't happen again🤗
All the best
Joëlle
Thank you for your input and feedback. I really appreciate it. I have taken steps to fix the problem and the guest did not tell the truth on his review and also I have taken steps and measured my house is immaculate, sparkling clean every time before any other guests has ever been there since I have new beds and new pillows, new sheets, which I take pride in. I did refund the guest at night stay and he told me he was going to retract his review and he hasn’t so I guess I’m stuck anyway I just wanted to tell you thank you so much for your input. All the best Nikki.
Good to hear @Jessica3501 😊 When you say that your guest was going to retract his review if you refunded him that one night, do you have this in writing on your Airbnb message system or other? If so, I would contact customer service with the necessary proof to get his review removed as this is contrary to the terms and conditions of Airbnb!
Let us know!
Does anyone know when these listing warnings are removed? I’ve had one for over 3 months from a 3 star review. It’s insane that if you get 2 or 3 1-3 star reviews you can be delisted. It’s impossible to make everyone happy and most guests don’t understand airbnbs review system. There’s also nothing on these new warnings documented in Airbnb’s TOS. They’re just trying to eliminate hosts which is crazy. No other platform does this to hosts. It’s become so stressful if you receive a 3 star review which isn’t even bad. It should be up to Guest if they wanna stay somewhere and decipher the reviews for themselves they’re messing with peoples livelihoods and are making it insane stressful to be a host. This used to be enjoyable now I’m constantly worried about getting a bad review even though I have great ones and losing my listings.
@Downtown6 we had a listing warning that stayed for a while. I gave up checking so don't know when it disappeared but it did eventually go away. Strangely the apartment stayed as a guest favourite throughout so hopefully this one vindictive review didn't damage us too much.
