What is the best way to transfer a airbnb listing from a private owner to a property manager if they have bookings already and guests that fully paid and half paid for reservations more than 30 days out? TIA
@Joseph2146 Airbnb do not allow listings to be transferred. You will need to block future dates and then have the property manager create a new listing. HOWEVER if they are a good property manager they should be willing to take on your place as co-hosts so it will be easier for you to take back control at any time if their service is poor.
Thank you for the reply but if we co host then we cannot do it under our company account correct? Basically the owners would have to deactivate their listing and we create a new one and block off the current reservations?
Why would you suggest that your client deactivates their listing -just get yourself added as a cohost to the existing listing @Joseph2146
the only one that benefits from the listing being set up under your management company is you .
Also bc everything is integrated with our pms system: lock codes, pricing software, email, texts etc
Hi @Joseph2146 , Did you get a chance to give Helen and Mike's advice a thought and decided on how you wanted to proceed forward?
