Would a trailer park with stick built house make a good home to STR?

Have a 3-2 Stick built brick home with 1 acre of land.House In a mobile home park with an acre of land. Close to highway and downtown And wondering if this would be a good Home to STR. With the land Possibilities Such as adding above ground pool Fire pit Tennis court etc.

Would make a perfect Party Place, Outside city limits Would create Unlimited Get rowdy Party down area with basically "lawless area". Would like insight whether to invest in setting home up.This is my current primary residence.

This is a good question for the planning and zoning office. Regardless of the location in or out of the city limits, zoning, use permits, building codes apply.  Impact on neighbors is important - fire, noise, parking, safety, etc. You might need a public hearing, definitely a building permit.

It is also a good question for your insurance agent. What risks does your business insurance cover?

As @Jenny said, Airbnb has a party ban, for excellent reasons.

Hi @Richard2769

Welcome to the Community Center!

I've clarified your post title a little, and moved it to another part of the Community Center, just to give it better visibility.

I also wanted to pop this link >here< which is all about Airbnb's party ban.

Hopefully some of our Hosts will be along soon with some advice about the property you're hoping to STR.

Jenny
