change the order of photo tour rooms?

There doesn't seem to be a way to change the order of the rooms!

Currently airbnb has decided to show the laundry room and exterior shots BEFORE the pool & patio area and the games room, which is insane.

Surely there must be a way to change this??

For some reason Airbnb thinks every listing should have the same order of rooms shown?

The way to change it is not use the photo tour and revert back to a grid where you can show the photos in the order you want:

Stop Using Photo Tour

The tour will not work if there is not at least one photo in each room. If you move all the photos say out of the dining room to addl photos, the tour is "deleted."  However, DO NOT remove photos from the bedroom(s) Room. This is because the system uses the "sleeping arrangements" and type of bed to populate your subtitle that shows the number of bedrooms. The system also uses the Bedroom Room to populate the "where you'll sleep" photos on the listing. If you have a sofa bed in the Living Room, be sure to add sleeping arrangements to that room (Don't remove photos from that room).

Once you have at least one room with no photos, click all photos at the top and the photos will appear in a grid. Simply click and drag the photos in the order you want them to appear.

Thank you so much, @Joan2709, for your helpful and clear response! I was really frustrated that I couldn’t control the photo order — my listing was showing the laundry room and exterior before the pool, patio, and game room, which doesn’t make sense when trying to highlight key features for guests.

Following your advice, I removed all the photos from one non-essential room (I used the Dining Room), which automatically disabled the Photo Tour and switched the layout to a grid view. Then I was able to click and drag the photos into the exact order I wanted.

I also made sure not to remove any photos from the Bedroom or Living Room, as you explained, since those are linked to sleeping arrangements and subtitle details — that tip was really important.

Really appreciate your support, @Joan2709 — your guidance made all the difference!

Hi @Ryan3831

I'm sorry you've had some trouble setting up your listing's photos the way you wanted too!

Did you get a chance to try out what Joan suggested? It would be great to know if this helps you make the changes you'd l;ike, or if you need any additional advice. 🙂

Thanks,

Emilie
