changing calendar openings

I want to change my calendar opening from 12 months open in advance back to 6 months but I have a booking in 10 months time. Can I change the setting to 6 months in advance and still keep that booking without deleting the booking?

@Brenda1362 The new setting affects new viewers not past booked guests.
