Can't relist my listing. Customer service not able to help.

Hey folks requesting help here for an issue that's been ongoing for the whole year. Essentially I cannot relist my listing I get the standard error message. I can however snooze my listing.

Airbnb support first told me to delete the listing and make a new one(I would lose all my reviews and ratings etc). I've been superhost for years and put a lot of time and effort into this listing so that wasnt an option.

I got someone else to help me and we found out the error might have been with my Massachusetts short term listing license and possibly a technical issue on their part. So I called the MA dept of revenue and got everything straightened out. My information seems to have been processed by airbnb and customer support has handed the case off to another team. There is no way to contact this team or check on the status of things. All I know is that it's been *months* since my case was sent to this other team and I've heard nothing. Each time I check in with customer support they say the case isn't in their hands anymore and that I have to wait.

I know Airbnb is on some hard times right now but has anyone found a fix for this? It's frustrating and this is my primary listing. I've been forced to market on another platform for this rental season and I actually hate it. Please help.

@Brittany313,

Considering the level of assistance that you've been receiving from Airbnb, why do you think it would be better than listing on another platform? If you've looked through some of the more recent and frequent topics here in the community, hosts are complaining about the lack of support from customer service, late payments, Airbnb giving refunds and allowing cancellations that go against the host's and their policies.

Which other platform are you listed with, and what are the challenges that make the experience so horrible for you?

Don't just believe what I say, check the Airbnb Help Center

Same experience in L.A.  Airbnb is broken.

We're AirbnbPlus Superhosts with impeccable 5.0 reviews over two years.  Our Identity was stolen by another Airbnb Host, which resulted in the City suspending our Home Sharing Certificate to investigate.  The city resolved the issue and reinstated us -- but Airbnb's web site has not been reprogrammed to remove our "exemption code" that prohibits short term rentals.  The city has verified that Airbnb has permission to relist us.

Customer Support is useless.  They "escalate" the issue, but no one ever responds at all.  Over two weeks now.

Thats rough. Its like "Hello Airbnb we would like to make you money and contribute to your ecosystem." And they just wont let us. I don't know exactly what needs fixing but personally as a host I would like some transparency or tracking for this mystery next level of escalation.

1. Brandy loyalty

2. I started out with Airbnb. I have grown with them. I would like to continue helping their ecosystem grow and they just wont let me.

3. Their user interface/experience is a LOT better than the other places I list.
