Cancellation policy changes

So I have a question: When we switch from a flexible cancellation policy to firm, does this affect those who have already booked? (which, in my opinion it should not). We have a lakefront Airbnb that’s at a higher nightly rate for this area, and I think people are having second thoughts with no consequence for canceling. These new cancellation policy choices are a move in the right direction!

@Timothy368 As you suggest it is the cancellation policy in place at the point of booking that applies to the stay.
