Direct booking from previous Airbnb guest

I have had guests call me a year later (they have my phone number now that they stayed with us - and I theirs) and want to book directly through me. Is there a policy that requires me to book through Airbnb since it was the originator of the Guest?

@Char14 You are able to take direct bookings in this circumstance. Your contract with these guests/Airbnb lapsed at the end of their last stay.

@Char14  Airbnb doesn't own the relationship between you and your guests. Once a booking has come to an end, their involvement is over.

I always give the guests I would welcome back direct contact info.
