Damages
I have a long term guest who is about to end his booking soon. And lately, I have been visiting the unit as I have repairs that I need to monitor. It so happened that I saw another damage that was not there the last year we surrendered the unit to the current guest. I want to ask your opinions if this is covered by the Airbnb damage claim or we can ask the guest to cover the repairs? If he refused to, what are your suggestions? Also, we have a physical contract aside from the Airbnb booking as it is a requirement for long term bookings. Thank you for your help. 🙂

@Sheryl149 My only advice is not to rely on Airbnb. If you want to try to pursue it with them then study the rules carefully and ensure you stick to them to the letter. Also be aware the Airbnb guarantee does not include new for old so an allowance will be made for the age of anything broken.
