Guests postponing

Hello,

I'm new to hosting, My guests would like to postpone there booking due to covid restrictions, but do not have a date as to when they would like to come. I am happy with this, but I do not know how this situation can be done, do I tell them to canx? or place a credit? Or what is the best thing to advise them.

@Raewyne0   There is no way to store a credit on Airbnb that's not attached to specific dates. The guests must either send an alteration request for new dates that are available in your calendar, or cancel the booking.

@Raewyne0Ask your Guests to do a request for Alteration of Dates and keep an open mind between you all.

That way you can both look forward to meeting each other also in the near future and have peace of mind for somewhere to stay and someone to come to stay.
