Greetings from India. I’m Snehal, an Airbnb Host from Vadodara, Gujarat, India. I host Mehta Cottage, a peaceful farm-style cottage in the countryside near Vadodara.
I have been hosting for several years and have really enjoyed meeting guests from different places. For me, hosting is not only about providing accommodation but also about sharing the local experience, hospitality and sometimes even homemade food with guests.
India is very different from Portugal, so I’m sure there will be a lot we can learn from each other. I’m also interested in hearing how hosting works in Portugal — especially your experiences with guest expectations, pricing, seasonal demand and what works best for attracting bookings.
