@Max1647 Was the exact location not shown on your booking confirmation? It normally is, and since you'd get that as soon as your reservation was confirmed, you would normally have time to cancel and receive a refund, unless it was a long-term reservation, which has different cancellation rules.
It also says on the map in the listing ad that the location is approximate, not exact.
Anytime something is really important to you as a guest, it's wise to first send the host an Inquiry message to make sure the listing will meet your requirements. Hosts normally won't give out exact location before a booking is confirmed (it's a security risk for a host to do so, not any attempt at being non-transparent, and Airbnb also sometimes places listing locations where hosts have told them it's not correct), but they would almost certainly tell you what area of town it's in, how far it is from somewhere you need to go while there, etc.
Unless a host has specifically stated in their ad that their listing is somewhere other than where it turns out to be, it's not a matter of false advertising.
