Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Bhumika , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Elisa @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

Hi guys,

I'm Rodney from Johannesburg.

I am in the process of convincing the Body corp of the 2 flats in Johannesburg that I already own to let me go ahead and Airbnb them.

This was not something I'd anticipated. Petty jealousy from other owners disguised as "security concerns". 

I am confident that I will prevail, however. 

Wish me luck and it's great to have a community of like-minded people to interact with.

I am from Louisiana but currently live in Idaho. At a young age my family moved to Laon France until I was 6 years old. We traveled to many places in Europe and I am look forward to going back again some day! 

I’m currently co-hosting a beautiful Victorian home in Idaho with my son and his wife. I absolutely enjoy doing this and meeting people from all over the US and many other places from around the word. It is a very rewarding experience. 

I have recently realized how helpful the Air BnB community is and I am excited about being a member of this group. Thank You all in Advance for the helpful information that you all post and I hope I can be as helpful to you!

About me, from my Airbnb Profile:  I live in Bisbee, in the house below my airbnb. I’m the guidance counselor at the local high school, a job I love. I‘ve happily raised my three children in Bisbee and helped raise my- now adult- foster child and grandchild.

Renovating and working on my home and airbnb are a labor of love and necessity, supplementing my income, feeding my family, sending my children to college, giving back to my community.

Thanks for sharing in my home!

 Looking to share resources with other hosts, furniture ideas (preferred mattresses, bedding, sofa beds, pillows)

Hello to all!
I’m Mary and I grew up in the Berkshires but left at 20 and became a Pan Am FA/then United Airlines. I  spent 34 years traveling internationally then retired to Naples FL as a Real estate agent. I missed my home community and return to Sheffield, built a home and Airbnb. I am committed to offering a comfortable refuge for my guests while also selling real estate here. My Airbnb is located on a bear trail and a migration stop for many bird species. Never a dull moment! I love to build gardens and enjoy nature.
