Why is Airbnb still not letting us upload videos?? 😭😭

That's something you would need to ask Airbnb about @Ann-Marie60 

Probsbly because they don't want hosts using video content to promote direct bookings

Exactly!  Videos would quickly become 30 seconds about the house followed by 15 seconds of "go to my site to book direct and save 15%"

@Ann-Marie60 Please could you elaborate upon what type of videos you mean, and where you want to upload them?

I could maybe imagine you're talking about a  walk through of the property, video, or maybe one of highlights of the area around one's property, but if that is what you would like to do, do you know whether any other OTAs allow videos to be uploaded by Hosts, and if they do, do they impose any restrictions?

Hiya John. Yes I meant a 60 seconds or less walk through… I can only wish (smile) . Would that be impossible?

No reason you can't send to guests who have booked or use in any direct bookings @Ann-Marie60

@John2406   VRBO (Or the other OTA that shall not be named) allows you tube videos to be uploaded, and have for years.

I agree, it would be nice to be able to send a video once the booking is confirmed. I have a 90 second YouTube video to walk folks through the check in process. People LOVE being able to actually see what they will be doing to check in.

Instead I have to send the link separately to their phone, which doesn't always work, especially if the guest puts their home phone number on their contact info. And then they ding you a star for communication.

I second what @Helen3 said.  Videos would quickly become marketing to direct booking sites.
