Ability of CoHosts to use quick replies
Hi there,
Is anyone familiar with what a co- host can and can not do? It doesn't look like they can see/use my quick replies or guidebooks. Anyone have different results?
Thanks for direction.

Hi Mary - the platform does not allow co-host to see or access your account tools. The co-host needs to set up there own tools (quick replies, scheduled messages and guidebooks). They can distribute these to your guests via their account.
Kind regards

Hi @Mary1142 as an Airbnb host, you should know that co-hosts have specific capabilities and limitations. They can assist with managing your listing, such as handling guest communications, updating calendar availability, and overseeing check-ins and check-outs. However, co-hosts cannot access sensitive information like your transaction history, payout or taxpayer details. They also cannot handle insurance-related claims or manage the primary host's travel activity on Airbnb. The exact functionalities available to co-hosts might vary, so it's always a good idea to check the most recent updates from Airbnb for detailed information.
Quick replies and guidebooks are typically exclusive to the primary host's account. This means that co-hosts cannot view or use these features. For the most current and detailed information, it's advisable to consult Airbnb's official guidelines or support resources. Hope this helps!

Hi @Mary1142
I don't believe Co-Hosts can access the multi-calendar either...just the regular calendar? Good advice from @Alicia753 to contact Airbnb on specifics.

I find it surprising that a co-host can not access the quick replies/scheduled messages of the host. After all, I can change pricing, block dates, and other things that seem far more "intimate" with the listing.
I don't like the idea of having to create my own quick replies/scheduled messages and then having to keep them in sync with the host's.
I think that giving a co-host and host access to ONE master set of replies/messages is an important product improvement to the platform.

Agree with you. I also think Co-Hosts should have the ability to edit the Host Guidebooks, but unfortunately, Airbnb attaches the Guidebooks to the Host profile.
It's always good to send feedback to Airbnb on issues like this.

yep. I sent said recommendation to AirBnb via the Feedback mechanism. Hopefully they will see a need to priortize this issue.
