Airbnb in Perth

Hi all, 

I have some questions relating to local councils approvals for short stay accomodation in Perth. Does anyone have some recent experience with getting the approval and how did this work with any Strata bylaws as well?

I would like to be able to rent out my extra room in a strata unit (in west perth) for airbnb. I would also be residing there. 

Any advice appreciated,

@Nalynn5  you might be better off going to a local FB group of hosts, this is an int'l forum. And as for your strata by-laws, they'll be customised to your building, so no one can give you advice on that.

In Perth every suburb has different requirements so go to your West Perth Council office and inquire there.
