@Sandi-And-Jim0 If you can do some sort of survey with your, and other local hosts, guests to see how much money they spend in the shops and restaurants in the locality. Then see if you can get these business' on side to retaining Airbnbs.
Other than that just understanding the issues those who want to ban Airbnbs have will guide your thinking.
Just one other question: If a local town or county tried this in the UK they would fail as they do not have the power to do so. Do random towns and boroughs in the USA have the right to destroy people's livelihoods?
