Co-hosting set up

I'm a superhost with 2 of my own properties and a third I'm co-hosting. I'm about to co-host for a 4th. I found this great article (https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/3726#section-heading-2) but when I tried to set up my co-hosting profile on AirBnB, it says I'm missing permissions to see my stats and I get an error when I click on cohost profile. Do I need approval or something?

Hi @Cindy1764 😊

Thank you for asking this!

Have you been able to set up your co-hosting profile yet?

Have you tried reaching out to Customer Support?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

@Elisa , I've been working with customer support for several days now. They say they are working on it. I think there's a flaw in the AirBnB software. if you are a host and decide you would like to find a nearby co-host, if you search for co-hosts in college station, TX, there is only ONE. There are 1500 short term rentals in Bryan and College Station. Why would only ONE co-host be approved to be on the list?

When I try to add co-hosting to my profile, it says I have to ask permission from someone (but doesn't say who?). I sent them my screenshot. They can't figure it out. I'm not entirely sure the folks I've talked to fully understand the issue. They keep coming back to specific listings. It's NOT a problem with a given listing. It's a problem with growing my business by offering my co-hosting services to hosts that I've not yet met.

If there's anything you can do to help this along, I would be grateful.

You don't need a cohost profile to cohost someone one  who wants to use your services.

all you need to do is send them an invite to become a host, help them set up their listing and add you as a cohost @Cindy1764

@Helen3 Yes, I realize that. But am I not understanding that if a host wants a co-host and doesn't know anybody, AirBnb will show them a LIST of cohosts available in their area. I want to be on that list.

Hi @Cindy1764 😊

After talking with Helen, do you still need any help with this?

Can you tell me a bit more about how I can help?

Looking forward to hearing from you!
