We are looking to host on AirBNB but wondered how best to deal with issues that come up from time to time, such as plumbing and electrical problems. How is it best to deal with these with guests booked into the future? They will need dealing with quickly. Many thanks!
Hi @Stuart297 I hope you’re well!
You definitely need to deal with issues that come up during guest stays as quickly and smoothly as possible- so it makes sense to have a contact list of trusted trades people to call upon in the event of a problem at your listing.
If you’re not going to be local to the listing, or don’t have the time to deal with problems that come up from time to time, then it makes sense to work with a local co-host who will be your eyes and ears on the ground and can help resolve issues as speedily as possible.
If you're in the same location as your listing develop your own contacts - I have a plumber , carpenter, electrician, handy person , Decorater, garden maintenance etc.
or if you don't host locally as Paul says employ a local cohost for your part of London who lives closeby to your listing @Stuart297
