HOST Service FEE

Hello,


At the moment I am paying 15% for Host Service Fee for Airbnb Plus and Luxe. But I believe Airbnb also has a 3% Standard Host Service Fee which is much cheaper than what I am paying.
I need to find out more about that?

I don't mind to go back to STANDARD if it's possible.

If you switch to the 3% rate, Airbnb will charge the guest 15% - added to your price. 

So it's actually less expensive to stick with the "simplified" 15% rate. 

I switched to the simplified rate to help keep prices consistent across platforms. The slight savings was just a bonus. I just added 15% to the price to compensate for it.

I remember reading a while back that if you were in the Luxe category then hosts were automatically charged the Host only Service fee, no split fee possible.

Same for hosts using a Channel Manager - they find themselves in the Host only service fee too.
