Home Protection Policy Document

In order to qualify for business rates our council wants a copy of the commercial use insurance policy that I am covered by. Will Airbnb provide that document, or supply proof that I am covered for public liability etc.

@Herb10 I really would not recommend that you rely on Airbnb insurance particularly for liability. Also it would mean that you could only take Airbnb bookings or risk not being insured at all.

Thank you very much for this advice. We have holiday home coverage on the flat, and thought Airbnb covered the commercial side fot P. L. etc.

@Herb10 if you have holiday home coverage then I would be amazed if it didn't cover public liability so you should be ok with this for the council.

Thanks again. I will verify coverage with the insurance company tomo. I just assumed from Airbnbs back-batting themselves that we were covered by their policy...?
