I think KYC problems is trying to scam from hosts

After 1 months of delay payouts, i have contact to Airbnb many times, and the problem they tell me that i didnt fill the KYC form ( even i have do it, i still have a screen shoot that Airbnb tell me that i already did it).
And now all i have from Airbnb supports is just a few robotics reply, like an automatic reply & they never helps anythings.
Is there anyone here can assist me now or is time to switch to another platform, have using this from 2018 - really dissapoint with a professional company.

Hi @Quang-Anh1 ,

Did you get a chance to go through the KYC requirements to verify your Host account? It would be worth reviewing if your KYC info is up-to-date.

Meanwhile, I will ask the related teams as well for further guidance, if there is anything specific.

we are having same problems too. Could you give me information please how many days later you get the payouts?

In the beginning of July 2023 I was informed that payments would be paused(after one year payouts without a problem) because AirBnB all of a sudden was missing my Id (K Y C).

Due to a technical problem in AirBnB software it has up till now been impossible for me to upload my ID.

For 6 weeks long I have had daily contact with the customer service and was asked to be patient.

AirBnB personnel admitted that the problem lies within AirBnB.

My apartment is fully booked during the summer season; guests are still coming and going and an agent and cleaning services need to be payed.

In the meantime I have stopped accepting new reservations, because it is completely unclear how long it will take for this issue to be resolved.

Up till now NO guests have been cancelled: I expect guests till the end of September.

Apparently the “dedicated technical team” failed to solve the problem and it was referred to a “ higher” team a week ago; I would be contacted by them to effectuate payments.

This has still not happened and all trails have been closed, as Customer Service is unable to resolve anything.

An invoice has been sent to Payments in Luxembourg( I live in the Netherlands) to no avail.

This has become a nightmare which I find hard to believe is happening.

Hello Sander

I've the same problem and I was wondering if your problem is solved yet or not?

My problem is still not solved.
I have been talking to at least 10 Customer Supporters but still no cure.
I found out Customer Support is an external company not belonging to Airbnb.
Their primary goal is to keep Airbnb happy NOT us customers.
Customer support has targets they have to meet for financial reasons.

So when things are getting to hard they just close the case.

I have written a very condensed summary that I use on each encounter with customer support.

The apartment I am renting out has an average rating of 4,92 and it has been in high demand this year (Algarve, Portugal)

I have lost all trust in Airbnb as a reliable business partner and I have stopped accepting new requests.
As I am living in an EU country I have started resorting to European financial courts.
Soon the apartment will be for sale, I really don't need nonsense

Same here, no resolution whatsoever, they owe me in the four digits now. I highly discourage anyone to do any business with them whatsoever.

Same here, they are pushing me into the stupid broken loop of uploading again and again! Been struggling with this since june now, no recourse or help from support whatsoever.

They say they have a "specialist Team" that looks at the problem, to tell me after a month they haven't even started, "BeCauSe YoU NeEd to SubMiT tHe KYC FoRm"

They even blame it on me for not correctly clicking the submit button, but instead I would have clicked save and exit, which is hilarious, because how would they be able to verify and decline my ID if it has not been submitted?

Which I cannot submit because it is broken. They are taking a interest free credit out of our pockets!

Me too! Im facing the same problem. Ive contact airbnb for many times. Nobody from the teams actually contact me, but they only say some specialise teams will handle, which i dont receive any update or reply from them
