Looking for a host connection

GM, my name is Stephanie and I am new to this and would just like to connect for insight and information.
Things have slowed down to a halt and I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing that.

Bryon48Hello @Stephanie3499 👋

Welcome to the Community Center! It's wonderful to meet you. It sounds like you’re facing some challenges with the slowdown.

Have you had a chance to connect with other hosts to see how they’re managing?

I'm going to tag some hosts from Florida so they can advise and support. I hope you don't mind the tag @Nicholas439@Karen1@Maria22471@Bryon48 and @Bradley181 🤗

Hi @Stephanie3499 , @Rebecca asked for commentary so I thought I would chime in. Looked at your listing and overall your home and pricing looks good but a view things jumped out that may be affecting your bookings.

- Your listing has "6 guests · 3 bedrooms · 1 bed · 2 baths" and the "where you'll sleep" links to just one queen bed.  This is confusing - is the listing just for one bed?  I think you need to review the listing and update to actual number of beds available.

- Photos - the photos are dark and look gloomy.  My suggestion is either get a professional or friend that has a camera with a wide-angle lens and take photos with the brightness dialed up.  If you want to do yourself then take the pictures with brighter option (most cameras can do this) or use your cell phone.  The pictures are too zoomed in and give a cramped feel.  Wide angle will make the space look more spacious. Most of the photos are good subject wise - other than the bathroom photo that has a lot of personal items on the counter - take the time and remove these for the photo.

- Description - it's friendly but doesn't really give a lot of information.  Expand this to include more details about the house.  Look at some other listings, especially ones that are booked consistently.

- Heading:  Change this "Quaint/Cozy R-section bungalow".  I don't even know what an "R-section bungalow" is and probably your guests won't either.  The heading is the first thing a potential guest sees - you want something they will click on to find out more.  Don't waste these 50 characters (all you get).  Figure out WHO your potential guest is and WHAT they would be looking for and advertise that in the heading.  Eg: Pet friendly - with hot tub and piano!"

- No hot water? - the amenities list has hot water crossed out.  Probably a listing error so update this.  Most people not going to want to stay if no hot water.

I know that's a lot but you really only need to do this once and the results will keep coming..  Can't stress enough how important the pictures are - wide-angled bright pictures without personal items in them!!

You obviously have a nice home as your reviews are great so show your best side and get more!!
