New Cleaning Protocol

Hi

Hope you Airbnb hosts are all safe and well.

I am a super host in the Uk with 3 self contained units all with their own private entrance, these units I clean myself. I have been reading the new Cleaning protocol and handbook but can see no mention of using sanitation fogging machine. Has anyone out there used them and are they up to the job, I have considered buying one to use before entering room there after clean. The cleaning product recommended kills Covid-19 after 5 minutes and sanitises the room once used.

Any thoughts or advice would be great.

@Phillip111   I don't recommend using disinfection foggers inside a household space. Between the limited ventilation and the number of absorptive soft surfaces in a home, the risk of respiratory and skin irritations to guests is far greater than the risk of Covid-19 exposure with normal cleaning products. You don't want to create one health hazard just to mitigate another.

Sanitation foggers are often the best solution for heavily trafficked areas where a lot of people spend short amounts of time. They're not appropriate for intimate spaces where a small number of people stay for several hours or days.
