New to the AirBnB Community

I am Jerry from Los Angeles. CA. I am excited to be a part of this community. I have been a host for a little over a month now, and it's been exciting, but dreadfully slow with 0 bookings and minimal visibility on the airbnb map. I was hoping by now there would be at least a few weekend bookings or prebookings for some holidays, but I've had nothing. When I view my listing in incognito mode, I literally have to zoom all the way in, in order to see the price bubble.

Hi @Jerry674,
Welcome to the community! It’s completely normal for the first month to feel slow — especially while your listing is still building visibility.

Here are a few quick tips to help boost bookings:

Use high-quality, well-lit photos — first impressions matter.

Offer a new listing discount for your first few bookings.

Make sure your calendar is wide open and your pricing is competitive.

Add clear, warm descriptions and highlight what makes your space special.

Respond fast to all messages — response time helps your ranking.

Hang in there — once you get your first reviews, momentum usually picks up!
