We’re Hosts in Indonesia. After switching our beneficiary from PT Maple Leaf Estates to PT PETRA HORIZON VENTURES, Airbnb accepts the OCBC IDR payout, shows Pending/Verified, then flips to “update payout method” and rejects it. OCBC confirms our details and SWIFT NISPIDJAXXX, bank code 028, and branch code are correct.
Over 2.5 weeks, 8+ cases, 10+ agents, and one “banking” contact later, the case keeps getting closed with “remove and re-add.” We need an internal Payments/KYC manual verification so accrued payouts can be released.
If you’ve resolved this loop:
- Did Payments/KYC need a specific document (NIB/NPWP, deed, UBO IDs) or an OCBC confirmation letter?
- Did assigning the company taxpayer to the payout method fix it?
- Any moderator who can route this to Payments/KYC, please DM.
- Screenshots and OCBC confirmation available.

We finally solved the problem. I'm sharing the error that various Airbnb support technicians hadn't identified, except for the last technician who, thanks to a hunch, was able to help us. The problem was the Swift extension. The Swift code must be entered as 11 digits, including the three values that identify the branch.
The instructions for completing the form indicate the Swift code is 8 to 11 digits. For the payment to work, the Swift code must be 11 digits.
Thanks for all support
I never "claimed" anything @Maple14.
I simply said since you and two other Hosts (@Daniele1414 & @Laura7976 ) are all having payout issues with the same bank (OCBC) that it may have something to do with OCBC and their possible AML issues and security measures. 🤔
I wish you well it getting it sorted out.
In realtà da una ricerca di vari ticket aperti su Airbnb sembra essere un problema che accade a tanti host in diversi paesi. Non credo sia un problema di banca (OCBC) ma di Airbnb

Actually, from a search of various open tickets on Airbnb, it seems to be a problem that occurs to many hosts in different countries. I don't think it's a problem with the bank (OCBC), but with Airbnb.
Has anyone got their money from Airbnb? It has been over a month and they still reject our bank account and close our cases with no resolution in sight!
Also our case is unsolved
@Laura7976 Ours got solved. You just need to keep trying to reach someone from "payments"
Good luck!
@Laura7976 I'm sorry to hear you are still having some issues with your payouts. Did you contact the Airbnb Support team about it already? What did they say so far?

Yay! Thanks for letting us know here what the actual issue waas it is bound to help other Hosts!
Thank you @Laura7976 for coming back to let us know it was all resolved, and how you solved it! I second Joan, this will be very handy for future hosts who may find themselves in a similar situation. 😊

hi Thank you. My Indonesian bank is Mandiri and the branch code is 5 digits not 3.. so its hard to make the swift code 11 digits. my bank gave me the 8 digit one but i searched online and found a generic one with XXX at the end- its for jakarta but maybe it will work. It is january and I havent been paid since August and noone seems to be able to help me. Booking dot com platform accepted it without a problem yet airbnb is rejecting it each time. Its very frustrating least to say.
Maybe try this: BMRIIDJAXXX
You can also contact the bank and ask what the last 3 characters should be:
BMRI - Bank Mandiri's bank code
ID - Country Code Indonesia
JA - Jakarta location
XXX - Indicates the primary office (no specific branch)
It has not worked. Is there anyone at all in the Airbnb team that can help? I havent been paid since August 2025. I have tried all. this is a legit account and booking dot com send payouts immediately no issue. I tried the 11 digit SWIFT, I tried updating location,
Anyone out there who can help????
I don't know anything about indonesian banks but you might try asking other Hosts in your local Airbnb Host club. See left side of CC menu; scroll to bottom.
From what I'm reading though, the branch code is only 3 digits not 5. I would ask the branch of your bank again for the 11-digit full code.
