Price Tips???

I manage my STR myself and when we opened in October the price tip button came in lower than what we were willing to go.   

I checked it out a few days ago.  Now it's much higher on some nights and lower on others.  What I'm wondering is using their price tips does that help in the algorithms?

A lower price helps 😀 , the system is easily impressed by whatever is cheap @Sarah7027 ‌‌relative to its level of comfort, location, ratings, etc. 

My opinion: if the price tip is higher it won't help, if it's lower it will. But the question is whether you still make any money, and the quality of guest we attract when we lower the price too much ...
