Guys, I'm so frustrated. I was trying to help a current guest who needed to stay longer with a special offer. Must have done it wrong, didn't realize she had to initiate. I changed the price JUST FOR THOSE DATES, she accepted, and all was well. The normal rate still appears on my pricing page and calendar. But then the nightly rate changed on my front page to that super-discounted rate! I reached out and they said it would "take some time to update" but they couldn't say how long.
Checked again this morning and it has updated: went up by a few dollars (random number?) but not where it should be. I HATE for people to see one rate when they search and another when they try to book: they hate it too.
Any recommendations??
If a reservation needs to be extended and you want to offer special price:
Use the "change" option on the reservation, select the new check-out date. The new price will be calculated, but you can change this price manually in the price-field to what you want to offer.
No need to make changes on the calender and will also not affect your average displayed rate.
(please note that rate will disappear soon and is not even visible at all for people from most countries, like in Europe)
Thank you : ) I know I did it wrong, but still don't know why the correct price is not showing. It shows correctly when I see the listing! I don't want an "average displayed rate", I want the actual rate!
