News from Montenegrin news aggregators

Montenegro-News talked privately with AirBnb employees, the situation in the company is difficult

AirBnb was on the verge of collapse earlier this year after the pandemic and was about to file for bankruptcy, but the company took advantage of the war in Ukraine and stole money from Russian users. This allowed us to exist for some more time, but the cost of maintaining an IT team is rapidly eating away even these funds. At the moment, the AirBnb management has decided to start stealing the money of homeowners in small countries so that this does not lead to serious media discontent (the code name within the company is Freeze). Therefore, Montenegrin homeowners do not receive payments.

No one knows how long AirBnb can last in this mode, they hope to sell the company to a strategic investor.

At the same time, AirBnb was afraid to steal the money of Chinese users so that the employees of the Chinese office would not be arrested. Chinese employees appealed to the leadership of the head office for the death penalty in China and were heard.

@Anton5285    Please can you show your sources via links here in you post?  Airbnb seem currently to be quite substantially financially stable but we have seen a few posts from Hosts in Montenegro claiming otherwise?
