QUESTION

Hallo

We have had our apartment with Airbnb for a year and have had one booking. What can we do to improve on this record?

Regards

@Wendy1186  I don't know why you wouldn't getting any bites. Is your pricing competitive with similar listings in the area?

One thing I noticed, although it may have nothing to do with lack of interest, is that your photo gallery is incomplete. There are far too many outside shots and not nearly enough inside shots. The master bedroom shot doesn't show much, there are no photos of bathrooms and no photos of the kitchen.

Take a couple photos of the bedrooms from different angles, so guests can see the layout, same with kitchen.

You could also try swapping your cover photo for another one. There's nothing wrong with your cover photo, but since that's what guests see first, it would be an interesting experiment to see if a different photo captures more attention.

I might take a better shot of the balcony seating, looking out on the pool (with a different tablecloth- that one looks too washed-out with the white walls and light-colored cushions and pillows) and use that for a cover photo.

@Wendy1186  Your listing looks nice, maybe there is some technology glitch with airbnb where it isn't showing up.  Have you done an incognito search to see where it shows up in search results?

You should also check the statistics in the menu "insight", section "conversion".

For example: the amount of views.

BTW your listing is in the search system:
