Hello @Glitty0

There is no quick fix to learning all you need to know about being a great host - it does take time to find your feet and my advice would be to read up on everything you need to know about how Airbnb works before creating your listing.  Come bac regularly on the forum and read all the posts from other hosts and use the search bar too with any particular aspect that you're puzzled about.

There are some great guides available made by hosts that you can find by clicking on your photo (oops you don't have a photo of yourself but it's a very good idea to have one to install trust from your guests) so click on your letter profil and go down to Host guides to learn from the best🤣

There are lots of great videos available too on the net which I found useful when starting out.

Any questions just come back here!

All the best
Joëlle

Hi @Glitty0

Thank you for showing your interest, and I wish you the best in this new journey as a host. I'm sure you will learn a lot, as there are many hosts in this community with a lot of knowledge about hosting. 😊
I'm going to tag some hosts to see what they advise on how to get started in your hosting journey: @Bronwyn100 , @Jess2718 , @Andrea8411 and @Fatima645

Thanks everyone in advance!🤗

Welcome, Glitty! Hosting can be incredibly rewarding once you have the right systems in place.

A good first step is to read through Airbnb's Hosting Resource Center (https://www.airbnb.com/resources/hosting-homes).. it walks you through everything from creating your listing, setting prices, and writing descriptions, to guest communication and cleaning standards.

From there, focus on:

- Creating an inviting listing with clear photos and descriptions

- Setting house rules and pricing that match your area

- Providing great communication and hospitality to build strong reviews

Once you've got your first few stays under your belt, you can refine your process, automate tasks and continue to improve.
