Super host status given to the wrong host of our listing.

Super host status given to the wrong host of our listing.

Im trying to have my business show as owner of the listing not my personal. I received super host status this month, but my primary host should have that status not me. I need to get this changed to my business or primary host who is in charge of the account. I have hit a dead end with customer service.

Hi @Tyler833 , it's definitely a unique situation that I've read in the community!

As per your listing set up, who appears to be the primary owner of the listing and Airbnb account?

I am inviting a few experienced hosts to your post to see if they have any guidance for us here. Hi @Dave-and-Deb0 @Greystone0 @Tara0 @Till-and-Jutta0 @Rose422 @Alana243 @Carshella0 @Marcos1103 , could you help host @Tyler833?

Thanks in advance everyone!

Regards,

Hi @Tyler833,

The account owner receives the Superhost badge, not necessarily the one who is set as the Primary host.  There is no way to change this.  I co-host for several people who have setup the listing on their own account and I am the primary host and they receive the Superhost status.

@Bhumika Isn't this something customer service should be able to deal with?

Chelcie is the primary host on the listing, but i ended up the listing owner. We have our business details in the backend , but its still showing me as the superhost where chelcie is the host, manager, and operator. She needs to have the super host status or our business.

Once again @Tyler833 it does not matter who is the "Primary" host.  It is determined by whose account the listing is created under, no matter what business details are entered into the back end.  You also receive the reviews since this listing is created on your own account.  I repeat, there is no way to have this transferred, the reviews or the Superhost badge, from one account to another.

I understand what Airbnb is saying,  but in the situation there has to be someone who can fix this issue.

This is nothing to fix as this is how it works.

@Tyler833 Sorry, I don't really understand the question.

But it sounds as if, when you created your account, that you put your name (an individual) as the account holder, not your company name (a business)?
