Can I through AirBnB, still advertise, as a two pronged rental, in my case 3-10 days as Tourist Accommodation, and 11-or more, as Seasonal Accommodation ?
Would this comply with AirBnB rules and also satisfy the new Valencian rules?

What i don't understand is, AirBnB are still advertising monthly and longer rentals in the Valencia region. How can this be if it is not supposed to be allowed?
Length of stays have nothing to do with Airbnb it relates to the STR regulations in your area. Airbnb will comply with regulations
You should be able to check the STR regulations on your local government website @G92
@Helen3 But if i have stays of over 10 days the tourist rules do not apply as it then becomes a seasonal rental and even the VTR is not needed, so my real question i guess is, do i only allow stays of over 10 days, thus not needing my current registration to comply with the ruling, only to comply with AirBnB rules?
@G92 How I understand it is, you can only use Airbnb for 10 days or shorter, anything more becomes a seasonal stay which means you can not advertise on Airbnb.
You do not need a license for the longer stays but must not be advertised on here or any other type platform.
So you have to choose, 10 days or less = Airbnb
11+ days = Not on Airbnb!
I have only just found out and I am fuming. Who on earth came up with 10 days as an acceptable timeframe?
@Paul-And-Jane2 I totally agree, it is a stupid ruling formed by somebody, no doubt in the pocket of the hotel industry!
14 days would have been aceptable, (just) but 10 is ridiculous, just trying to push guests towards ( in my area) non existent hotels.
Have you read it completely, all the amendments to the rules, i.e on the street acccess.
Using lockboxes, all guests must now be met on arrival.
It is genuinely crazy what they have done.
I agree, 14 days would have been acceptable, but 10 is just plain ridiculous.
There are very few hotels in my area, alot of people from Madrid come to my area for at least 2 weeks, it is crazy. It is hurting the Spanish aswell as non Spanish.
Just had a Spanish lesson and my teacher says Spain is soooo corrupt with the politicians, so he is not surprised by it all!
@Paul-And-Jane2 @Helen3 Which websites would you recommend for middle/long term advertising?
I am changing my licence from april to october, i guess airbnb cannot check what is the term of the licence and let me to rent out for 1 months during winter for example.
Hi Erik, Not sure you can suspend your licence and then pick it up again at will!
I think you will find you have to cancel your licence and the re-apply from the start, to get a new licence and that could be very difficult as many areas are not now issuing new licences.
Sorry I don't host in your location you'd need to do your own market research to understand what websites and services you can use for mid/long term rentals @Erik2429

What i don't understand is, AirBnB are still advertising monthly and longer rentals in the Valencia region. How can this be if it is not supposed to be allowed?
It's a mystery how Airbnb (and others) ignore certain laws.
One other example, here in Mallorca, it's necessary to have licence to offer tourist rentals. Airbnb asks us every year to confirm our licence with threat of delisting.
Yet, you can easily find unlicenced offerings on Airbnb. The government has fined them multiple times for offering unlicenced accomodations, yet it continues.
Why bother demanding licence confirmation if they never enforce it? And even more perplexing, Airbnb keeps getting fined for it. You'd think they'd wise up.
