What does "guests are likely to pay..." mean? Is it the average price for similar listings?

I am guessing it is but would like to check.

Thank you.

@Nick-and-Claire1 it is no more than a suspicion but perhaps this is replacing the long derided 'price tips'. If it is then I guess it is data to be ignored just like price tips were.

Well said @Mike-And-Jane0.  These are just new words used to dress up the relentless pressure to lower your rates @Nick-and-Claire1.

It is much worse than price-tips because, at least what I see, the range goes from $30 below our average rate to $50 or more above it.  Guests will pay $79 to $145 is not helpful.

I haven't seen a range @Mark116 and was actually wondering if they would ever show prices above your listed prices.  Hmmm...

@Ann72  Interesting, all the days from now until a random date in mid-March are all ranges.  After that it moves to a single price going forward for it looks like the rest of the year.  I checked July 4th weekend and Christmas week to see if the recommendations were higher than average; answer: no.

Very interesting intel, and so typical re: the holiday weekends, @Mark116 🤔
