Booking.com has recently started providing an iCAL calendar export link. However when attempting to import the iCAL Calendar into Airbnb calendar it gives an error:
"The calendar address isn’t in ICAL format. Check the URL and try importing again."
But if I import the calendar to Google Calendar it goes fine. Also it goes fine when I import to Homeaway.com.
Anybody having this issue? Could this be because Airbnb does not recognize booking.com iCAL yet?
Booking iCAL URL has following format:
https://admin.booking.com/hotel/hoteladmin/ical.html?t=<unique_key>
I have just called booking and they told me the issue from booking side, they had some updates and thats why this problem showed up.They are going fix this up asap and than let me know. I have also tried booking calendar to another calendar but the same issue.
which is strange because the sync for this works fine in tripadviser....or does for me!
it does for you, you are luck 🙂 I think airbnb could not make sync and thats why cancelled it.
Same issue here since this morning! I think is because they see a decline on airbnb bookings and an increase on booking.com.
Same issue here in Italy, so the problem is from Booking? I wrote Airbnb. I synced the url Booking gave and imported to iCloud to make a new calendar subscription and it read everything's fine. Who's in wrong?

Clerly AirBNB need to release a fix....whatever it is has happened. But its all quiet.
Same problem here - Norway so I am remowing the Instant booking option from AirBnb 😕
Unfortuneately I'm not working on AirBnb and can not test the import of the calender link of Booking.com, but possible can be a solution to shorten first the Booking.com calendar link with goo.gl URL Shortener and trying to import the calendar with the short link after.
Would be worth to test this!

Just had a reply from Booking Partner Support Team.
Is their problem. The calendar syncing option is under maintenance, and should be ready in the next days. They suggested me to manually control reservation till they'll fix it.
The same problem. It seems problem booking.com calendar. When I try validate their calendar:
Your calendar is using an invalid newline format. Make sure to use \r\n to end lines rather than just \n (RFC 2445 §4.1).
Your calendar parsed, but with errors.
Error: Error was: Property [DTSTAMP] must be specified once
