I receive these messages from Airbnb regularly: "[Guest Name] arrives in 8 days. We'll share your check-in details with them before they arrive." I assume this is the message I have saved under "Arrival details" titled "Check-in instructions". While most people know exactly where to park and enter the space, some do not... I'm assuming they haven't read this message. When I have asked guests if they received this message from Airbnb, no one seems to know what I'm talking about. Does anyone know when it is sent? Does it come to the guest as a regular Airbnb message and go to their email? I could send this information myself, but don't want to duplicate it for those who do pay attention and read what they receive.

Yes, Airbnb sends a Reservation reminder email to guests 3 days before their check-in date. It will have a link to their itinerary which would now show the arrival details and check-in instructions. The email will also have a link to view your House Rules and a link for them to submit any changes to their reservation.
