trying to make special offer

I am a host and have received a request to stay. I would like to make a special offer but the option doesn't seem to come up? I managed to do this a few weeks ago,  has something changed?

If it is a booking request, then there is no option for special offer.

(only when it is an inquiry)

If you ask the guest to retract the booking request, then the special offer button useally will appear.

@Sally190 You can’t make a special offer once a booking request has been made. When you did it before, it would have been with an Inquiry. You can now do a ‘change booking’ with a new price, after you’ve accepted the booking request. Everything is automatically recalculated. Once you do that, the guest gets a message from Airbnb with the new price and all they have to do is accept it.
