Can someone please help me, I have listed one property on airbnb and I am not using any software to connect to airbnb hosting, which is why airbnb have said that I am being charged 15% due to using software connected host. They have said that it showing on their system that I am and once again I am not using any software ..... 15% is alot when I should be paying 3%
has anyone every experience this ?
Besides if your on software connected software: if you are on host-only fee (15%) then guest do not pay the Guest service fee. So if you increase your prices with same percentage, guest will pay same total amount. Please note fees are subject to VAT where applicable.

@Fionnuala8 You don't list on any other platforms? If not, it sounds like a glitch. Make Airbnb show you where they are seeing that you are software connected.

I have contacted airbnb support & they said I am being charged 15% as it appears on their end that I am using software to connect to airbnb platform but am not. I have sent another message awaiting reply as to "what" software am I suppose to be using.
My friend & I have same listing & price she got charged 12euro & I got charged over 50euro. Huge difference 😓😓
@Sarah977 I have the house on booking.com too but do not have them intergarted by calendar or connected in anyway. Airbnb have said they have no glitch on their end..
@Sarah977 and @Emiel1 after long period of trying to resolve this, I have noticed a company that I only enquired about their services and somehow they connected there services to my airbnb account, how this happened I do not know as I never provided a link to the house etc. I have contacted airbnb again and I am no longer software connected.. smoobu was the company.
