I'm not sure I understood exactly what happened. Did you get an error message when trying to leave the review? if you could tell us a bit more about the situation, other Hosts might be able to advise you further. 🙂
@Emilie The problem is, which has always been a problem in this circumstance, is that @Carol754 's guest canceled before they ever stepped foot inside her home. She did not host the guest. But the review format is the same as if the guest completed their stay. How is Carol supposed to indicate star ratings on cleanliness or following house rules for this person when she doesn't have any experience actually hosting them?
@Emilia42 Thanks, I wasn't quite sure if this was what @Carol754's post was about or if there was some kind of bug that needed investigating. I know this is something you and others have mentioned before but I'll make sure to pass it on to the team now. 🙂
I thought this had changed finally, just recently, to where no review required for last minute cancellations. However, I also just got a prompt to review a guest who cancelled 6 a.m. the morning of check in. Come on Airbnb, this is ridiculous.
