A guest having a one night stand

My single male guest who has never been to london before arrived yesterday, went on a pub crawl and brought a woman back at 1.30. i was awoken by them having sex. Really pissed off. i knocked on the door and said as he had booked the room for one he isn't supposed to bring people back. He said he thought it was ok and he'll pay me the extra £10.00 today, as it's £40 for 0ne person and £50 for two. i said thats not how it works. As it was the middle of the night i did not ask the woman to leave. They continued making noise and i hardly slept. they are still asleep. i'm very upset. He has one more night booked. Shall i ask him to leave today? Has he broken a rule as in, i have not stipulated in the house rules that you have to book for two or at least ask permission on arrival if you want to add a guest. But in two years of being a host no one has done this to me.

Really would like feedback from hosts asap

Do you stipulate in your house rules no additional guests? If so then yes, he's broken a house rule and you can ask him to leave.

I understand your frustration and annoyance; I would feel the same .

Id let him be and just charge extra for both  nights.

Unfortunately, there's always that one guest who falls between the cracks...

Best change your house rules to 'No unbooked and unregistered guests. Violation will be cause for cancellation'.

That also automatically takes care of the "A different guest showed up than booked. What do I do???" situation.
