I have just been onto the Air BnB site to book accomodation. The host agreed that we could book. BUT Air BnB is saying I need now (and this is the first time they have requested I do this): to give them permission to access my PayPal account in order to "speed up my transactions" . I do not want to give this permission and I have been told by PayPal not to do this. However unless I "Agree and Continue" on the Air BnB process site there is no other option. What can I do? I am unable to contact Air BnB!!!! I have no other way to pay!!!!
If you have only PayPal setup for payment option, then you need to agree. Otherwise add a credit card.
I have only PayPal and no credit card.
As Air BnB took it upon themselves to recently enter my accoutn and take £390 out for a 12 day holiday accomodation that I was just making an enquiry about, as you might guess I am relucatnt to give them access to my account. PayPal have also advised me against doing so - they would not ensure payment would be returned as they forced Air BnB to do with this initial problem. I have never had to agree to one of these agreements before. Is this new do you know?
Why is it that you have to agree for AirBnB to have direct access to your PayPal account without you verifying that they can do so?
