Hi all,

Is there any way that a landlord (not on airbnb) looking for permanent tenants for an apartment, can check prospective tenants' profiles on airbnb - if they have profiles on  airbnb? There are plenty of tenant history registries to check but as a regular user of airbnb for travel,  I think airbnb reviews would be much more personal and revealing. For example someone might be deemed a bad credit risk or rent payer on a registry just because they missed a couple of weeks rent whereas on airbnb they may be described consistently as the nicest, cleanest people you've ever met.

Hello @Peter204. As for checking users' profiles, it is only in the case of an upcoming reservation that a host can check a guest. Then, do you think Airbnb are willing to make their database of personal info after all available publicly?
