Add minimum stay for specific dates - trip length

Hi everyone!
I have become the host for 1 month. I am intending to set up minimum stay for specific dates such as holidays.
I am just wondering about Start Date and End Date. Is Start Date check-in date and End Date also check-in date, right? Or Start Date is check-in date and End Date is check-out date? Two cases lead to 1 day difference in trip length...So I feel a bit confused.
I would appreciate any support from all of you.
Thank you! ^ ^

Hello @Hang17,

Both "start date" and "end date" are checkin dates.

So if you usually allow 1 night satys but want a 2 night minimum between the 10th and 15th then someone can check in on the 9th and check out on the 10th or the 11th etc.. Someone checking in on the 10th will have to stay on the night of the 10th and 11th at least.

Hi Steve

Just wonder if you can clarify a little further for me please? I wanted to put a minimum night stay of 6 nights, to check in on a Saturday, throughout the summer holidays. I am normally a 2 night minimum stay for any arrival day. Having put the start date for this on to my calendar, I have just had a booking that runs over the top of my first 6 night start date by one night. I had assumed that any request that came in and would run over this start date would be alerted to the fact that their requested dates wouldn't work.  So, now I need to change my requirement for the rest of that week! How do I do this without affecting the next Saturday check-in and without losing a weeks booking? Having thought I understood this I am now confused in Wales! I would have hoped that the Airbnb system would have coped with this and it seems to be a glitch to me.

Any help very much appreciated.

The settings applied are the ones excisting on check-in date. Special settings like you mention do not have a fence around it. So a booking can go through "the imaginary fence". It's best to use ruleset (only available in multicalender) to deal with this, for example by disabling check-out days.

best regards,

Emiel

Thank you!  I didn't know this and will look into ruleset. Your advise is much appreciated.
