Additonal host

Airbnb just released new function call Additional Host that let the Main host allow another host to help managing the listings.

However, in my opinion, the additional host has too many permissions ( such as change price, block dates, etc.) that might make the main host harder to control. Why dont Airbnb let the main host choose what can an additional host do? Like a check list? That would be better right?

Or the main host can but I cannot figure out how to set it? Can anyone here help or how can I send this suggestion to Airbnb?

Regards,

Truong

Great idea! For example, I would just like to share just the calendar. Please share the idea in the Host Voice where it may actually get read by Airbnb staff: https://community.airbnb.com/t5/Host-Voice/idb-p/host-voice

I guess they approached it from the perspective of a joint host, someone you trust, and are happy to share the management of the property. Overcomplicating things by introducing more options and tick lists etc when the site is difficult enough for hosts to navigate would introduce a whole new set of issues to be resolved I think.

As mentioned - Host Voice is the place to list your suggestion and see what others think too.
