AirBnB needs to assuage concerns from hosts re guests.
I understand discrimination is what AirBnB is fighting. Yet, that goes against screening guests. This is not a hotel, where everything is more compartementalized. This is my house. A guest has just requested booking. There's absolutely no information about him. This was my response:
Hi John D.,
AirBnB is making it more and more difficult for me to host people. In this case you have no references, or reviews to look at. I would like to host you. At the same time there's an apartment in the basement whose renters I'm responsible for; my daughter occasionally visits me AND my office is in the house. So, as you can see I have a lot at stake here. If it is not too much to ask, could you tell me a little bit more about yourself?
I also understand if with all this fuss you decide not to come to my house.
Yours...
