Hi all,
We've updated our pricing for 2018 to PHP 3200 / approx CAD 80 for all of our listings. However, when you click on 'Preview Listing', both show the wrong price: one shows a much cheaper price at CAD 37, and the other shows CAD 62--which was our old rate. I've checked countless times to see if I had entered the new base price incorrectly, but I didn't, the base price I have entered is still PHP 3200. I've also tried to enter the old rate to see if it would change anything, but it still shows CAD 37 on one of our listings. I've had a few guests inquiring about our listing with the very cheap price, and we didn't know what to do since the rate is just way too cheap to sustain our house. We told them that there seems to be a glitch and what our actual rate is, which just makes them turn away--obviously who would want to pay more when you found a "good deal"? However, there are some guests who instantly book that paid for the correct rate of PHP 3200 per night; at least we don't have to let them know they paid for the wrong booking and we won't be paid short on the rate. If maybe we are just seeing the wrong rate when previewing the listing, what I am worried about are some people who see CAD 37 and try to book the really cheap, but incorrect price.
I've tried contacting Airbnb about this: the first time they said a specialist will follow up, which did not happen, so I followed up again. This time they assured me a Case Manager is onto it but I never heard from them again. The glitch still persists and we are still getting inquiries with the incorrect price. This is really bad for business. Can anybody help me out?
