Hi, In
I have been charged by Airbnb 168.66 USD on three separate ocasions. First Airbnb charged me 42.22 USD on 12/04/19 and then airbnb charged me twice in the period of one week for 63.22 USD. I contacted airbnb and they said my card is with someone else. The message from my bank is as follows.
A transaction was made on your card (ending..xx) for USD 63.22 at AIRBNB* ** in the United Kingdom on 27/08/19. Pls advice if not yours.
I confirmed from the bank and said that it was Airbnb and airbnb said it is one of your relative. I told them show me their identity I live in Afghanistan Kabul and I don’t have any relative in UK and if it is my relative then why would he charge 63.22 that is not even the payment for one night in the UK. How is that possible? I asked them to show me evidence and lets find out the identify and then show any relationship. They closed my case without any solution. Today again from the same airbnb I am charged 63.22 USD.
Airbnb is stealing my money and the company isn’t solving my problem.

as far as I know, you should to go to your bank, cancel your credit card and ask them to withdraw the transaction and refund you.
You should also change the password on your Airbnb account if it was used for booking an accomodation.
Thank you Ms. Branka. I did block my MasterCard. It is good that you said to change my password. My bank is now in communication with Airbnb.
Looks like your card was cloned.
you should cancel the card immediately and dispute the charges with your bank.
Dear Ms. Roberta
Thank you for the reply. I canceled my MasterCard. And now my bank is in communication with Airbnb.
