Airbnb Technical Issues

Hi Airbnb community, 

 

Once upon a time there was a great service called Airbnb.  Then it all started to fall apart!  Support service is sending incorrect messages to You as a host. Superhosts now are dealt without any priority at all, there are pending payouts from Feb 25 and still no answer,  You can't speak to the case manager who is handling your cases and best of all,  You can't have access to your own  RESOLUTIONS Page because "Something Went wrong"

 

And No, its not me!   They will put you in a labyrinth of support and you will never find a way out.  Maybe this post will make it up to the Management Team and fix those bugs and bring us back the great support you once had.

Check that your account has not been compromised, as in fraud & unlawful access of your account as there's worldwide issues with these things at the moment.- scan ABB news online..

 

It's unfortunate if the Customer Services person is not on to these issues as others are.

 

Have a read through CC using related words to see how others are addressing this issue.

 

 Not been paid since February is not ok.

Nope, my account is not compromised.  This is a real technical issue (server-side - Airbnb side), not some kind of bad password, hacked account.  I think they have messed up with some kind of update they did and some accounts are having issues. 

 

The Support Center team doesn't have much of a saying, its just some kind of helpdesk but they are not trained for tech issues. They can only "forward" the issues to a department called "Product Specialists" and that's it.  No phone number, no e-mail address, no contact whatsoever with those guys. 

 

Thanks for the info and will check it out for sure. If somebody has any updates at all feel free to write it down here so others in need can read it too.

Experiencing the same sort of hell!  I just keep getting the run-around and vague answers, and then messages that say the case is closed when really I have zero resolution.  I feel like I'm never talking to a real person. Just faceless call center workers with no power.  And what I can only guess are possibly mail bots. 

feel the same.  Just had the first airbb customer and it was not a positive experience.  Still waiting to be paid, wanted to know if the taxes were included in the payment as I believe they were not.  The complaint about the certain cottage, but that person did not stay in that cottage, so the information Airbb have received is completely wrong and have received no answer to correct this.  Not a happy cookie and thinking of backing out of Airbb.   Do not need extra headaches..... like to be able to talk to customers and at least get the host/customer service Airbb is supposed to give.

at least im not the only one. I too have payout issues that starting ealry april and still no help or getting any closer to  a fix.  i am owed  for about two months of completed guest stays and no one can help me get this payid out. 

Did you know that we Hosts, PAY AIRBNB to keep their Platform UP AND RUNNING with service fees from our own reservations?  So I think that these technical issues which are not solved (3 months now) are becoming a larger issue which in my opinion requires Legal actions against  Airbnb.

 

I think we should all sign a petition against  "The HIGHER Department" at Airbnb (the support call it like that) so they can seriously check into these technical issues and fix the problems and COMPENSATE US IN FULL for all the damages caused to us 

 

Most of us have invested our times, our properties, our money and we demand a working platform from the moment that we are paying service fees to keep it up and running...

 

 Anybody with a legal background who can help?
