Airbnb not paying in a timely manner

I have 29 night guest that checked in on June 1st and I have not yet been paid.  This transaction shows as a "pending transaction".  I called Airbnb customer service this morning and the person I spoke to assured me my funds would begin the payout process within three hours.  He told me there have been some security issues, so large transaction payouts are being held.  Instead of the payout email, I received this email response:

Hi Angie.

I'm having trouble contacting the team that can release your case as no one I know from that team is online. I will go ahead and forward your case to that team so we can get that payout released to you ASAP.

If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to respond to this e-mail and I will be more than happy to help.

At this point I have guests staying in my home for 5 days so far, without any payout to me.  I am a Superhost and am currently on hold for a second phone call today.  Been on hold for 20 minutes so far...

As a Superhost, you know this is not typical.  Use the Twitter option to contact Airbnb directly and respond to the person who sent you the email.   Check the payout status of the payment https://www.airbnb.ca/help/article/304/where-do-i-find-information-about-my-payouts  And remember that funds take a few days to process.  https://www.airbnb.ca/help/article/425/how-do-i-check-my-payout-status .  As fellow hosts, and Superhosts, we do not have insight into your payment matters, but you should be aware that Airbnb processes about 80,000 bookings a day.  I hope this gets resolved for you quickly.

How did everything go? Did the payment go through? Getting payments on a weekend sometimes pushes the payout back but I'd surely expect the money in my account by 11am on Wednesday morning.

If not I would alert the guest and inform them to get in touch with AirBnB or their stay will have to be cut short. Usually a "pending transaction" message is before they arrive and means theres an issue with the funds. I've never had an issue with payment upon their initial arrival.

The payment did get transferred on June 7th.
